Each year in May, the Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival brings together food, wine, art, culture and performance in this beautiful South Australian wine region – one of regional Australia's most celebrated arts festivals. I won the design prize in 2019 for the logo competition, and offered to paint it as a mural as part of the event that year. It was so well received, and I was grateful I got to explore this beautiful historic town too.
